She was very intelligent but not too smart. It doesn't take a whole lot of common sense to realize you can't just slide down a chimney like Santa. It would have been easier to have broken a window and went in that way.

She might have gotten an A in her medical studies,
but in social skills she scored a D- !
She also could have
been obsessed over the guy and girls do nutty things when they are obsessed.
